Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your The Paper Glade account and the data associated with it. The Paper Glade is operated by The Paper Glade Pte Ltd (UEN: 202530319R) ("The Paper Glade", "we", "us", or "our").
1. How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at developer@thepaperglade.com with the following:
- The subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- The email address associated with your The Paper Glade account.
- The name of your organisation, if applicable.
To protect your account, we will verify that the request comes from the account owner before processing it. We may contact you at your account email address to confirm the request.
2. What Data Is Deleted
Once your request is verified, we will permanently delete the personal data associated with your account, including:
- Your account profile information (name, email address, phone number, and profile details).
- Your authentication credentials, which are managed by our identity provider, Clerk (see our Privacy Policy).
- Where you are the owner of an organisation, the organisation's data that you control, including customer records, conversations, messages, media attachments, schedules, forms, and account settings.
- Access tokens and credentials for any connected integrations (such as WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and Google Calendar).
3. What Data May Be Retained
We may retain a limited amount of data after account deletion where necessary to:
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations (for example, billing and transaction records).
- Resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our agreements.
- Maintain security and the integrity of our systems.
Any retained data is kept only for as long as required for these purposes and is then securely deleted or anonymised. Aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer identify you may be retained.
4. Retention Period
We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days. Residual copies of deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to a further 90 days, after which they are purged on our rolling backup cycle.
5. Deleting Specific Data Without Closing Your Account
If you wish to delete only certain data rather than your entire account, you can delete individual messages and conversations within the Platform, or email us at developer@thepaperglade.com describing the data you would like removed.
